Overall, my stay at the park was a bit underwhelming. While the grounds were pleasant and the communal kitchen/living spaces were nice, the cabin itself left much to be desired with its stale cigarette smell. The price didn’t seem justified given the condition of the accommodation compared to others I've stayed at. However, the facility was very quiet, which was a plus.

Rooms
5.0
The en-suite cabin was rather ordinary and had an unpleasant stale cigarette smell. It didn't offer the value for money I expected during my travels.
Service
6.0
The service was standard, nothing particularly stood out as exceptional or lacking.
Location
7.0
The park was situated in a quiet area, away from street noise, but not too far from town, making it fairly accessible.

Facilities

The park had lovely grounds and good kitchen/lounge areas, which provided a nice communal space, but the overall facilities seemed basic.

We had a pleasant stay at this campground overall. The sites were on gravel, which helped during the rainy weather, and the ablutions were very clean. One downside was having to pay for showers, which felt unnecessary given the fees. Even though we had to search for a site due to unallocated spots, the mini-golf was a fun touch. We would consider returning, especially since it’s pet friendly and the staff were warm and welcoming.

The camping sites were clean and well-maintained, but we wished there were allocated spots to ease the check-in process when it was pouring rain.

The mini-golf was a fun addition, and the ablution blocks were clean. However, the lack of soap and toilet paper by morning was a bit of a letdown.

I had a mixed experience at this park. While the location was nice and the campsite was fairly clean, I found some aspects lacking, particularly when it came to the facilities. The shower situation was a bit frustrating with extra charges, and the overall vibe felt a bit rundown. However, I did enjoy the mini golf and the pet-friendly environment, which made up for some of the downsides.

Rooms

We stayed in a self-contained caravan, so I can't comment on the actual rooms in the camp. However, I appreciated being able to shower in our own space, avoiding the extra charge for showers.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made a difference in our stay. However, it would have been nice if they had allocated sites when we arrived, especially in the rain.
Location

The location was decent, giving us access to nearby amenities and a nice atmosphere for camping. It's a good spot if you're planning outdoor activities.

The facilities were okay but felt a bit dated. The ablutions block was clean, but the overall experience was marred by the lack of allocated sites and the extra shower fees.

The camp had a nice setup, with clean facilities and a good atmosphere for families. However, some areas felt a bit rundown and the shower fee was unexpected. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I would likely look for other options next time because of the shower charges and the site allocation process.

Rooms

I didn't stay in a specific room, as we were in our caravan. However, the sites were mostly gravel, which is great for rainy weather.
Service
7.0
The staff at the camp was friendly. I didn't experience any major issues, but the lack of allocated sites made it a bit challenging at check-in.
Location
8.0
The camp is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, especially since we were in a pet-friendly place.
Dining
6.0
I didn’t eat on-site as we cooked in our caravan, but it seemed like basic dining options were available.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were generally clean, but I was surprised by the fee for showers. The mini golf was a fun addition for family activities.

I had an average experience at this park. While the grounds are quite nice and the kitchen is well-equipped, my cabin felt ordinary and had a stale cigarette smell. The camp was quiet, but overall, I didn't feel it provided good value for money, especially compared to other places I've stayed on my trip.
